The Agricultural and Rural Centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our learners.
Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG)
The Agricultural and Rural Centre CIC follows a Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) program which, we believe, makes a major contribution in preparing young people for opportunities, responsibilities and experience of life. They help young people make decisions and manage transitions as learners and workers. It is vital that all 11-17 year old’s have the knowledge and skills they need to make informed choices. We strive at all times to conform to the current “best practices” in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance laid down by the government.
The Agricultural and Rural Centre CIC is committed to providing a planned Programme for all students in Years 7-12, in partnership with outside agencies (Colleges, 6th Forms, Apprenticeship providers, and Universities). For this reason we have now signed up to complete the IAG award.

Seetec’s purpose is to help the people and organisations we work with to achieve sustained and purposeful growth. We thrive on their success.
We believe that those we work with have tremendous power and potential and it’s our job to help them to achieve. And because we know every person, business and community is different, we make sure our approach suits their unique needs.
Seetec provide all of our pupils both 1:1 careers support, group work and career workshops.
CAREERS CURRICULUM
All of our pupils study a careers curriculum each week which enables them to gain qualifications in employability skills .
The Agricultural and Rural Centre CIC are actively working to ensure we achieve the requirements set out in the Gatsby Benchmark.
Our pupils had a great morning at the High Peak careers fayre. What a great way to learn about different career opportunity's. Pupils got to ask lots of questions about different jobs and careers, as well as coming back to school with lots of resources, leaflets and gifts. This event not only connected people with job opportunities but also created a positive, inspiring environment where pupils of all ages can access resources and knowledge to build brighter futures.
